Award winning display team Star Fireworks present's the Maldon Annual Firework Display

Current holders of the National Firework Championship and Best of the best winners title. All the crews are fully trained to the City & Guilds accreditation. Ensuring not only excellence but also event safety.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring my own fireworks or sparklers?

No fireworks or sparklers will be allowed through the gates under any circumstances. The display has a health and safety plan that does not allow any items previously mentioned unless part of the display.

Where can I park?

Is available at all Maldon Town car parks for £1.00 after 6pm for the evening. Parking is also available at the Plume School and Maldon District Council HQ car park for free.

Will refreshments be available?

There will be a number of refreshment facilities. Restaurants, and pubs are all near the venue and there is a good selection to choose from.

Is there any shelter in case of bad weather?

There is very limited shelter available. All open air events this time of the year should be considered to be wet and cold. Therefore the appropriate clothing and protection should be used at these such events.

Can I purchase a ticket on the day?

Tickets can be purchased at the gates prior to 7pm on the date of the display. These tickets are sold at £1.00 in excess of prices shown on the printed early bird ticket outlets.

Is disabled parking available?

Disabled parking will be available in the coach park Promenade Park Maldon, this will only be available to Blue Badge holders and must be produced on entry. Spaces at this location will be on a first come basis.

Where can I park?

No public parking is available at Promenade Park. Follow the AA signs for parking.


Parking in all council car parks after 6pm is £1.00 for the evening.


Parking in the Plume Academy car parks is free of charge.
